Raleigh families do so much to support their parents.

Even with the best care, though, the days at home can feel long and quiet.

Games with Mom offers a different kind of support: joyful, one-on-one visits built around familiar games like Scrabble, Rummikub, and Hearts.

This free guide shows you how simple play can brighten your parent’s day — and when the time feels right, I’ll happily come by for a free intro visit.

Hi, I’m Jack — and Games with Mom is personal for me.

I grew up in a family business in elder care, where I saw how much joy, dignity, and connection matter in someone’s later years. My very first job at 16 was running activity programs for residents — and I’ve believed ever since that play and presence can change someone’s whole outlook.

Today, I serve on Raleigh’s Parks and Recreation Advisory Board, where I advocate for inclusive, welcoming spaces for all ages. That same spirit guides Games with Mom: showing up, building community, and bringing dignity and laughter to every visit.

I bring the games, yes — Scrabble, Rummikub, cards — but more than that, I bring conversation, respect, and companionship. This is more than a service. It’s a relationship.

Bring more joy into your parent’s day — right here in Raleigh.
